I moved to Asheville from Palm Beach, Florida about 12 years ago. I was raised in the Northeast: Rochester, NY, Manhattan and schooled in Conneticut and Italy. I have travelled all over the world and still believe that Asheville is one of the most beautiful places to live in. The mountains are gentle and embracing, the weather is tempered and the residents are kind, giving and loving. This is my kind of place to live in, where "anything goes". Open minded people are attracted to our diverse culture. We have more restaurants and galleries per capita than in New York City. Imagine that! Something different to do every night.
