Abstract:
The invention is an improved cable management system having an open frame, such as a telecommunications network rack, a plurality of enclosures for containing fiber optic equipment secured to the frame, at least one cable trough assembly defining a primary horizontal cable pathway, cable fanning guides secured to at least some of the enclosures, and a plurality of cable rings defining a primary vertical cable pathway to collect and route cable emerging from the fanning guides. Additionally, the invention may include a plurality of transverse cable troughs defining a plurality of secondary horizontal cable pathways, a second plurality of cable rings defining secondary vertical cable pathways to collect and route cable to the transverse cable troughs and a slack cable management system having a plurality of spools secured along the frame to receive slack cable.
Wall Mounted Enclosure With Rotating Patch Panel Frame
An apparatus for mounting electrical equipment includes a frame for carrying electrical equipment, a hinge connected to the frame, and a cable ring connected to the hinge. The cable ring is positioned between the frame and an axis of rotation of the hinge.

Abstract:
A dual-sided IDC connector for use in connecting electrical components to field wiring is described. One side of the IDC connector may be factory-wired to an electrical component. A second side of the IDC connector may be field-wired in an end-wiring or a through-wiring configuration. The second side of the IDC connector may have multiple covers to minimize the effort required by a field technician to terminate the field-wiring. The IDC connector may be easily mounted to existing raceways, outlet strips, and junction boxes.

Abstract:
The embodiments provide a spillover fitting that allows cable to be routed out of a cable routing channel in a manner that allows for the transition of routing of the cable from a generally horizontal direction to a generally vertical direction. The spillover fitting includes a transition guide that receives cable from a raceway channel and routes the cable out of the channel and into a downward guide, avoiding subjecting the cable to an abrupt transition by orienting the transition guide at an angle less than 90 to the raceway channel. The spillover fitting includes an attachment member for securing the fitting to an outer surface of the bottom wall of the raceway channel and may include a hinged cover over the downward guide.

Abstract:
Connector mounting receptacles include either a mounting base or a wall plate having a spaced apart tooth and resilient latch disposed to engage mounting slots in a modular connector to releasably mount the connector to the receptacle. The connector includes corner mounting slots disposed to engage lateral stops formed in the wall plate. Steel wall plate receptacles are integrally formed of conductive metal with the connector latching features being configured to concurrently releasably latch and conductively ground a shielded connector mounted in the receptacle.
