Abstract:

An epoxy formulation is provided with improved properties for electrical components exposed to a voltage differential. The improved electrical properties include increased glass transition temperature, increased breakdown strength and/or lower loss factor. Electrical components may be formed from the epoxy formulation by 3D printing the epoxy formulation and curing the formulation with UV radiation. The epoxy formulation includes epoxy, a photoinitiator and an accelerator.

Abstract:

A push-lock coupler includes an annular metal insert with a coaxial profile complementary to a conduit; a cylindrical polymeric housing molded over the annular metal insert and having a first and second end and an inner surface; and wherein the first and second end are capable of deforming to the coaxial profile of the conduit inserted into either the first or second end, and the inner surface of the cylindrical polymeric housing has at least one groove disposed between the annular metal insert and the first end.

Abstract:

A system includes a tool for installing a cable material around a set of elongate members. The tool includes a housing; a cartridge detachably connected to the housing; and a jaw detachably connected to the housing. The cartridge has a length of cable material. The jaw is configured to extend around the set of elongate members to install the length of cable around the set of elongate members. A welding horn is detachably connected to the housing. At least one processor is configured to read a programmable chip. The programmable chip stores a set of parameters for at least one of the cartridge, the jaw, or the welding horn.
