Abstract:

An improved smoke detector device comprising a base for mounting to a place on a ceiling or a wall via a mounting means; and a ring for removably attaching to the base, the ring comprising at least two modules that removably connect together via a connecting means to form the ring, wherein each module comprises an inner chamber and a door, the inner chamber of each module can hold an item, the door of each module can move between an open position and a closed position for respectively allowing and preventing access to the inner chamber of the module.

Abstract:

A vent cover and louver assembly includes a housing with a perimeter wall having a first edge and a second edge each defining an opening through which air may be passed through an air passageway of the perimeter wall. Each of a plurality of slats is rotatably mounted to the perimeter wall and traverses the air passageway. The slats are positionable in a closed position or in an open position. A motor is mechanically coupled to each of the slats to move the slats to the closed position or to the open position. A rechargeable battery is electrically coupled to the motor. An electricity producing apparatus is mounted on the housing and is electrically coupled to the battery. The electricity producing apparatus is actuated by air moving through the housing to produce electricity. An interface is in communication with the motor to allow a user to actuate the motor.

Abstract:

A smoke detector device featuring a base for mounting to a ceiling, wall, or fixture. The base has three grooves disposed in its outer surface. Rings can wrap around each groove on the base. Each ring has at least two modules with an inner chamber and a door, wherein the inner chamber of each module can hold an item. The base can move between an expanded position wherein the three grooves are exposed and a collapsed position wherein only one groove is exposed. Flanges and set screws can secure the base in the expanded position.

Abstract:

An electrical control system for fixtures, devices and appliances that safety isolates a power source using the features of the safety block, and consolidates multiple control points to remotely activate a combination of fixtures, devices and appliances using the features of the control module, thereby promoting safety and facilitating energy conservation. The system has a safety block where a safety-block AC power supply connector on the rear attaches to a household alternating current (AC) power supply. The safety-block AC power supply connector passes through a cavity to the safety-block AC power transfer connector located on the front. The system also has a control module with a control-module user interface on the front. A control-module AC power connector connects to the control-module user interface and passes through the control-module cavity to connect to the safety-block AC power transfer connector located on the front of the safety block.
