ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: In the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor - Effectively plan and organize daily work activities independent of direct supervision. Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 75 pounds, up to 800 lbs. and reach up to stack/unstack pallets or hand cart while loading/unloading product, and retrieving items from storage safely. Safe operation of under 26,000 lb. vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions. Deliver product within assigned route schedule and in a timely manner, inform management team of any deviations or issues. Unload product from truck, by hand or using hand cart or via pallet; including transporting product down ramps, up/down stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions at customer locations. Collect money (cash or checks) where required, and turn in all funds collected daily. Complete logs as required. Maintain vehicle maintenance reports and safely operate all assigned equipment. Maintain sanitary conditions in truck and assist with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard. Ability to multitask in a team oriented fast paced environment. Effective verbal and positive communication skills, demonstrate strong customer relations and problem resolution skills.
