Abstract:

A message device to be installed at a location for storing a message left by a visitor for an intended recipient while the intended recipient is absent from the location. The message device includes a housing to be installed externally of the location where it can be accessed by visitors to the location. The housing includes a substantially-planar writing surface upon which a paper can be placed while the visitor writes the message to be left for the intended recipient on the paper, an aperture in which the paper can be inserted once the visitor has completed the message, and a cavity for receiving the paper inserted into the aperture and storing the paper until the paper is later retrieved by the intended recipient. A writing utensil is provided to be retrievable by the visitor when the visitor is located adjacent to the housing for writing the message on the paper.

Abstract:

A symmetric multiprocessor includes with a hierarchical ring-based interconnection network is disclosed. The symmetric processor includes a plurality of buses comprised on the symmetric multiprocessor, wherein each of the buses are configured in a circular topology. The symmetric multiprocessor also includes a plurality of multi-processing nodes interconnected by the buses to make a hierarchical ring-based interconnection network for conveying commands between the multi-processing nodes. The interconnection network includes a command network configured to transport commands based on command tokens, wherein the tokens dictate a destination of the command, a partial response network configured to transport partial responses generated by the multi-processing nodes, and a combined response network configured to combine the partial responses generated by the multi-processing nodes using combined response tokens.

The integrated surface stimulation device may comprise wireless stimulation system in a disposable and/or reusable flexible device for widespread use in multiple therapeutic applications. The invention would be situated on the skin surface of a patient and would be activated so as to reduce the overall occurrence of infections and/or increase wound healing rates. As provided, the device will comprise an integrated power supply and pre-programmable stimulator/control system on a flexible polymeric substrate layer with areas of stimulating electrodes, applied using techniques such as those found in additive manufacturing processes. The device is especially valuable in treating biofilm-based infections.
