Abstract:

The multi-use flat bar includes a generally L-shaped body, which has a long leg and a short leg. The body also has a pair of side edges that extend along a full length of the body including both the long leg and the short leg. The long leg of the body has a first surface that is provided with angle measuring indicia, which includes a plurality of lines that extend from one of the side edges and point towards an opposite side edge in the short leg of the body.

Abstract:

The knife includes a handle and a blade, which is pivotably connectable with the handle and is able to pivot between an open position and a closed position. A cutting edge of the blade is fully disposed within a slot in the handle when the blade is in the closed position. Clippers are incorporated into the handle and include a first clipping piece, a second clipping piece, and a lever. The first and second clipping pieces have opposing clipping edges. The lever is configured to press one of the clipping pieces towards the other clipping piece to bring the clipping pieces together.

A shank extends along a length from the mixing device to an end face. Abstract:

The multi-tool assembly includes a housing which is made of two pieces that are joined together with a screw. The housing extends between opposite longitudinal ends and has opposite lateral sides which extend between the longitudinal ends. The assembly also includes a blade which extends out of one of the longitudinal ends of the housing. At least one spirit level is attached with the housing and is oriented either perpendicular or parallel to at least one of the lateral sides. The blade allows a person to use the multi-tool assembly as a utility knife, and the orientation of the lateral side in parallel with or perpendicular to the spirit level allows a user to use the multi-tool assembly as a torpedo level.

Abstract:

The utility knife assembly includes a housing which extends in a longitudinal direction between opposite ends and presents an at least partially open interior. A blade with a sharp edge is fixed with the housing such that the blade extends through one of the longitudinal ends, and the blade is fixed with the housing in such a manner that it is non-movable relative to the housing. A blade protector is partially disposed in the open interior of the housing and is movable in the longitudinal direction relative to the housing between a retracted position and a covering position. In the retracted position, the sharp edge of the blade outside of the housing is exposed for cutting, and in the covering position, the sharp edge of the blade outside of the housing is covered by the blade protector.

Abstract:

One aspect of the present invention provides for a multi-tool assembly for use in drywall installation and repair. The multi-tool assembly includes a handle which extends in a first direction between opposite ends. A blade with a flat edge is secured with one end of the handle for spreading a drywall compound (also known as mud or putty) between adjacent drywall panels. A screwdriver bit is secured with an opposite end of the handle from the blade for fastening drywall panels. The screwdriver bit is disposed at an angle of between thirty and ninety degrees relative to the first direction to allow for increased torque on the screwdriver bit when fastening the drywall panels.
