Abstract:

A system and method in a fibre channel environment supporting serial ATA devices. In one embodiment, the system and method includes a network having a plurality of servers and a plurality of fiber-channel devices connected to each other through the network. In another embodiment, a command arbitrator answers at least one non-media access command received from a transmitting server. Furthermore, a buffer may store a first consecutive write command for a first time interval and a second consecutive write command for a second time interval if the first time interval has not expired in one embodiment. In addition, a reset command may be generated if at least a first and a nth retry request for a failed command is unsuccessful, in one embodiment.

Abstract:

Described are systems and methods that compensate for phase aberration in a high energy laser (HEL) without the need for a “beacon” laser or a wave front sensor to measure the phase aberration in the return signal from the “beacon” laser. In one aspect, the systems and methods use an imaging camera to image a HEL hit spot on a target, estimate the phase aberration of the HEL at the target based on the image of the HEL hit spot, and compensate for the phase aberration in the HEL using the estimated phase aberration. Also described are systems and methods that clean up an image of a target by estimating a wave aberration of an incoming beam based on the image of the target and clean up the image of the target using the estimated wave front aberration.

Abstract:

A method and system for handling requests from a user and rendering a resulting page in HTML useful in effectuating aspects of an order management system, which reduces the redundancy in the underlying code required to effectuate the HTML page. An embodiment of the present invention modularizes various parts of an HTML page, effectuating the re-use of certain portions of code, advantageously reducing redundancy. In one embodiment, the present invention associates each HTML page with a form mapped to a servlet in a system backend. The servlet performs appropriate action based on corresponding user action. Each user action calls a set of re-usable helper class methods. Upon completion of processing, the servlet calls a render method. The active render method internally calls re-usable render methods in helper classes. These populate NTV data used by a JSP to generate a new HTML page accordingly.
