Abstract:

The present invention is a computer-implemented interactive content delivery system having a central control device operable for processing and verifying information, at least one messaging device operable for communicating with the central control device, a location control unit in communication with the central control device, and a service for obtaining data and information. The service is in communication with the central control device and the location control unit. The present invention further includes a user having a mobile communication device operable for sending a signal to the at least one messaging device. When the messaging device receives the signal from the mobile communication device, the messaging device will verify information of the user and communicate information to the central control device. The location control unit will receive information from the central control device and the service, and the location control unit will deliver information to the user.

Abstract:

A license management system which includes a license management facility that determines whether usage of a licensed program is within the scope of the license. The license management system maintains a license unit value for each licensed program and a pointer to a table identifying an allocation unit value associated with each use of the licensed program. In response to a request to use a licensed program, the license management system respond with an indication as to whether the license unit value exceeds the allocation unit value associated with the use. Upon receiving the response, the operation of the licensed program depends upon policies established by the licensor.

Abstract:

In some embodiments, a method includes receiving, from a client compute device and at a server, a request to access a resource. The request can include an identifier associated with the client compute device. The method can further include accessing risk information associated with the client compute device from an instance of a distributed database at the server using the identifier. The risk information is provided to the distributed database by a set of compute devices. Each compute device from the set of compute devices implements a different instance of the distributed database. The risk information can be analyzed to identify an access decision and a level of access to the resource can be granted to the client compute device based on the access decision.

Abstract:

In some embodiments, a method includes receiving, at a host device, a signal indicative of an authentication request for a client device to access a resource from a set of resources. A resource confidence value associated with the authentication request is calculated based at least in part on (1) a threat confidence vector associated with at least one risk mitigation score for each threat from a set of threats and (2) a set of resource vulnerability scores associated with the resource and each threat from the set of threats. The resource confidence value is compared to a resource confidence criterion associated with the resource from the set of resources. A signal indicative of a positive authentication is sent from the host device to the client device when the resource confidence value satisfies the resource confidence criterion such that the client device is granted access to the resource.
