Abstract:

An electronic circuit protection device includes a first receiving capable of receiving a first connector. The device also includes two pair of resilient contact arms electrically coupled to the first receiving portion. The contact arms are capable of receiving a second connector. The device electronically couples the first connector to the second connector when the first connector and the second connector are inserted into the device. The device provides protection from electrostatic discharge by providing an electrically conductive path to ground, which bypasses components, which may be harmed by resultant potentially harmful currents. In one embodiment, the device is compliant with PCMCIA and JEIDA standards.

A method and system for transparently processing a search query by displaying a search query interpretation or restatement inside a search box. Upon receiving a natural language input from a user, the method converts the natural language input to a search query interpretation of the natural language input. Abstract:

A group of mobile phones can each be associated with a different personal phone number, and can also be associated with a common family phone number. When a call is received at the shared family phone number, an intermediate server routes a notification of the call to each phone in the group, and each phone can ring. If a first user answers a first phone of the group, a notification is sent by the first phone to the intermediate server, which in turn sends a notification to the remaining phones in the group that the call has been answered. The remaining phones then stop ringing. If no one answers the call, the caller is routed to a voicemail associated with the shared family phone number, and a notification of a voicemail message is routed to each of the group of phones.

A computer-implemented method for managing a billing policy for mobile phone associated with a first phone number corresponding to a first account and a second phone number corresponding to a second account is described herein. The billing policy defines actions performed by the mobile phone to be charged to the first account, and defines actions performed by the mobile phone to be charged to the second account. Charges are allocated to one of the first account and second account based on the billing policy. A user can configured to phone to operate in a private mode, in response to which actions are charged to a default account of the two accounts, and information about the action is not provided to an external entity.

Abstract:

An intermediate server communicatively coupled to a mobile phone associated with a first phone number corresponding to a first contact type and a second phone number corresponding to a second contact type, receives a request to receive an incoming call associated with a caller phone number. The request corresponds to the first or second phone number. The intermediate server identifies a contact type associated with the request and a contact type associated with the caller based on the caller phone number. The intermediate server further determines whether the caller is misclassified by comparing the contact type associated with the request and the contact type associated with the caller. In addition, the intermediate server sends a notification indicating that the caller is misclassified to the mobile phone in response to determining the contact type associated with the request and the contact type associated with the caller do not match.
