A trailer hitch designed particularly for converting pleasure type automobiles into towing vehicles and for trailers having a gooseneck forwardly projecting front end, a principal object being to minimize fishtailing of the coupled units and to improve handling of the towing vehicle and also to provide a hitch configured for use on different models of cars with minimum difficulty in adaptation, the hitch being largely hidden in the luggage compartment.

Abstract:

Stitch length stops for an industrial sewing machine which is implemented by a stop member having a slot therethrough and a finger projecting therefrom, which slot is clamped behind a sheet metal bracket that may be affixed to a sewing machine frame. The sheet metal bracket is fashioned with an aperture through which a screw may extend through the slot of the stop member and into a bracket having a threaded aperture so that the stop member may be compressed between the bracket and sheet metal member. The sheet metal member may be implemented by a belt guard.

Abstract:

A position indictor for an industrial sewing machine, particularly a programmable industrial sewing machine, in which an elongate slender member may be selectively extended through a tubular conduit to have an end of the member adjacent the work supporting bed so as to indicate to an operator the starting position for a work material from which stitching may initiate. The elongate slender member, which is best implemented by a wire, may also be used as an edge guide or a pivot point. Extension of the member through the flexible conduit may be initiated by an air cylinder or solenoid, and may be initiated by program control to take place when the sewing needle and the sewing machine presser foot are elevated.

Abstract:

A music translation device provides a light output pattern in response to an audio input. A divider circuit is used to provide a repeating output which commutates repeatedly among a series of output lines. Each output line is connected to a pair of output devices. The output pairs are arranged along a pair of paths, the output devices being oriented along the lines in an opposed order to create the illusion of oppositely directed motion along the paths.
