  • US Patent:
    20060092916, May 4, 2006
  • Filed:
    Oct 29, 2004
  • Appl. No.:
    10/976501
  • Inventors:
David Harmon - Plano TX, US

  • International Classification:
    H04L 12/66
  • US Classification:
    370352000, 370404000
  • Abstract:
Routing frames in a communication ring includes receiving an invitation at a proxy server of a node of a ring. The invitation indicates that a first endpoint is initiating a call to a second endpoint. An access device operable to communicate the call to the second endpoint is identified. The access device has a private network identifier uniquely identifying the access device within the ring. A media path to the access device is reserved. The private network identifier is inserted into frames received from the first endpoint in order to route the frames to the second endpoint through the media path.
  • Apparatus For Making Urea-Formaldehyde Insulation

    view source
  • US Patent:
    43661220, Dec 28, 1982
  • Filed:
    Feb 25, 1981
  • Appl. No.:
    6/237858
  • Inventors:
Charles E. Elmore - Dallas TX
David H. Harmon - Dallas TX
  • Assignee:
    Ciba-Geigy Corporation - Ardsley NY
  • International Classification:
    C08J 936
    B01J 808
  • US Classification:
    422133
  • Abstract:
A process and apparatus are provided for making desired shapes of urea-formaldehyde suitable for use as insulation from urea-formaldehyde foam. Fluid urea-formaldehyde foam (A) is formed into discrete particles (A') in particle generator (10) which also partially cures particles (A'). After particles (A') are fully cured, they are blended with fluid urea-formaldehyde foam in mixing apparatus (11) which includes blending head (66) to produce mixture (C) which is a coherent mass. Mixture (C) is molded to the desired cross-sectional shape by molding conveyor (12). Cutter (132) cuts formed mixture (C) into the desired length. Thereafter oven (146) is utilized for fully curing the product which is then enclosed in a suitable packaging material.
