Abstract:
A method and system for automatically administering a loan via a web-based communications network is disclosed. This system is based on a controlled relationship between a borrower and inspector, both parties requiring proper registration and certification based on established system requirements. Rather than a direct loan to the borrowers, monetary funding for a loan is supplied by a lender who supplies a funding account managed by system administration. Various draws on the loan may be obtained after proper incremental approval of corresponding elements of the borrower's project. A system administrator controls all aspects of these relationships and also manages system tools that are utilized for approving certain system processes. Underwriting processes are available to the system for analyzing computerized applications. The method and system may specifically be practiced with a construction system, such as for home builders, that administers automated construction financing. Such an embodiment establishes a more involved relationship between builder and dealer, involving building supplies as well as funding. The builder system also embraces specific system features such as project portfolio management, tutorials and message boards.

Abstract:
Biomedical and tissue engineering devices, such as surgical sutures and microporous scaffolds, respectively, which undergo swelling and increase in dimensions when placed in aqueous environments such as living tissues, are produced by the melt-spinning or electrostatic spinning into strong monofilament and multifilament yarns or microfibrous fabrics, respectively. Such devices are formed from especially high molecular weight crystalline polyether-esters having a minimum inherent viscosity of 0.8 dL/g and heat of fusion of at least 5 J/g, wherein the polyether-esters are made by grafting to a polyester component a polyether glycol component having a minimum molecular weight of about 1 kDa with at least one cyclic monomer.
Bioactive hydroforming luminal liner compositions are formed of an absorbable crystalline amphiphilic polyether-ester-urethane dissolved in a liquid derivative of a polyether glycol that undergoes transformation into a tissue-adhering, resilient interior cover or liner for the controlled release of its bioactive payload at clinically compromised conduits in humans as in the case of bacteria- and yeast-infected vaginal canals, esophagi, and arteries following angioplasty.
Bioactive Polymeric Liquid Formulations Of Absorbable, Segmented Apliphatic Polyurethane Compositions
Bioactive liquid formulations are formed of combinations of absorbable, segmented aliphatic polyurethane compositions and liquid polyether for use as vehicles for the controlled release of at least one active agent for the conventional and unconventional treatment of different forms of cancer and the management of at least one type of bacterial, fungal, and viral infection.

Abstract:
Hydroswellable, absorbable and non-absorbable, aliphatic, segmented polyurethanes and polyurethane-urea capable of swelling in the biological environment with associated increase in volume of at least 3 percent have more than one type of segments, including those derived from polyethylene glycol and the molecular chains are structurally tailored to allow the use of corresponding formulations and medical devices as carriers for bioactive agents, rheological modifiers of cyanoacrylate-based tissue adhesives, as protective devices for repairing defective or diseased components of articulating joints and their cartilage, and scaffolds for cartilage tissue engineering.
