David was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, MO where he graduated from high school in 1999. He now proudly lives in South City St. Louis and enjoys it tremendously. David has always had a passion for homes, renovation, and building. As a child, he was involved with many projects to demolish, update, & renovate the homes of family and friends. During college, he worked as a cabinet maker for 2 years, where he learned to build and install custom cabinetry for up-scale construction projects in andaround Springfield, MO. After that, he worked for a residential door manufacturing company as a trim carpenter building exterior door & window units for another 2 years. In 2004, David received his Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Management from MSU in Springfield, MO. During 2005 – 2007 David worked as a construction superintendent for The Jones Company Homes / Centex Homes in St. Louis where he managed the construction of multiple residential developments. All total, he has personally directed the construction of over 100 individual homes. During the construction of each home, David was responsible for maintaining the relationships with all of the individual home-owners, along with the contractors involved with each process. In 2007 he was recruited by Keller Williams Realty to work with a top producing real estate team in St. Louis and has been selling homes throughout the St. Louis Metro area since. As of late, he now works as an agent with Garcia Properties St. Louis. During his time in Real Estate Sales, David has sold homes ranging in price from $80,000 to $450,000. In recent years, David has renovated 6 homes and has successfully marketed and sold them all quickly. Non-Real Estate interests include Backpacking, Canoeing, Ping Pong in his garage, playing Lego's with his son, and hanging out with friends. He has a family cabin near Fredericktown, MO where he loves to spend time with his family, fishing for small mouth Bass and hunting for "craw-dads" and minnows to use as bait. Sitting still is not one of his virtues. Unless he is sleeping….
