Hooray for David Osborn and the Occupiers. Stand up for organized labor. That multinational corporation has shown great disrespect for the longshoreman's union. There are trying to rule the world with money, and stomp on labor.
"They should respect their prior agreement with the longshoreman in Longview and give them the contract as they have promised and they need to treat all workers with dignity and respect so they can provide a livelihood for their families," said protester David Osborn.
Two shipping facilities in Portland closed early in the day when about 200 protesters marched in at dawn, setting up a tent and portable toilets. Occupy Portland organizer David Osborn said many port workers refused to cross their picket lines.
