Abstract:

Methods, systems and apparatuses for controlling a light through an automatic mode and a bypass mode are disclosed. One method includes receiving physical signaling. Detection of a predetermined sequence of the physical signaling is used to determine whether to control the light in the automatic mode or the bypass mode. The automatic mode provides network control of the light, and the bypass mode bypasses the network control of the light. One lighting system includes a light, a sensor for receiving and sensing the physical signaling, and a controller detecting a predetermined sequence of the physical signaling. Detection of a predetermined sequence of the physical signaling is used to determine whether to control the light in the automatic mode or the bypass mode. The automatic mode provides network control of the light, and the bypass mode bypasses the network control of the light.

An apparatus and method of deducing building floor plan information are disclosed. One method includes changing an intensity of light generated from a plurality of lights within a building. A plurality of light sensors senses an intensity of light received from at least one of the plurality of lights. Abstract:

An open end of a hollow member is sealed using a sealing member comprising a layer of sealant between two constraining layers. Force is applied to the sealing member to maintain the sealant in sealing contact with the inner walls of the hollow member. At least one of the constraining layers and/or the means of applying force is sufficiently resilient to accommodate volume changes of the sealant during temperature fluctuations and displacement of the sealant when a substrate is inserted into the hollow member through the sealing member. Abstract:

A system and method for generating a plurality of output files based on a Management Information Base (MIB) specification is provided. The system includes one or more MIB compilers designed to produce outputs based on a MIB specification. Each of the MIB compilers reads a set of directives that are maintained separate from the MIB specification. The set of directives indicate which of the modules and items defined in the MIB specification are to be processed during a given MIB compilation operation. The set of directives may also specify MIB additional attributes and values for items that are defined in the MIB specification. The set of directives may also specify that, for the purposes of the MIB compilation operation, a MIB item is to be treated as though it had a different attribute than an attribute specified for the MIB item in the MIB specification. The system also includes a single syntax checking unit that checks for syntax errors in the MIB specification prior to sending data representing the MIB specification to any MIB compiler in the system. The system includes a MIB compiler for generating, from multiple files containing a one or more MIB module specifications, a single file containing a single MIB module specification.
