Abstract:
A supporting surface and a touch screen member mounted to a plastic frame having a first vibration transmitting slot and at least two mounting slots. A pair of similar L-shaped poles is mounted in the frame in juxtaposition to define gaps between them. One of the poles constitutes a stationary pole and the other of the poles constitutes a movable pole. A winding is mounted on the stationary pole. The frame defines a vibration transmitting slot, and the touch screen member is attached to the frame by a tab that is press fitted into the vibration transmitting slot so that vibrations created by the movable pole can be transmitted via the vibration transmitting slot to the touch screen member. The additional slots defined by the frame and tabs defined by the supporting surface mutually coact for mounting the frame to the supporting member in a stationary position.

Abstract:
A solenoid for a park lock mechanism wherein an annular frame has a reduced diameter at one end and receives a bobbin with a coil wound thereon with the bobbin projecting outward of the coil at one end and defining an integral bearing positioned in the one end of the annular frame. A magnetic permeable sintered metal bushing is interposed between the integrated bearing of the bobbin and the one end of the annular frame. A plunger is received in the bobbin for sliding movement relative thereto. The plunger has a first reduced section at one end that includes an element for connecting to a shifter and a second reduce section at its other end that projects out of said bobbin. The solenoid has two operating conditions, a first condition in which no magnetic force is applied to the plunger and a connected shifter is locked, and a second condition in which magnetic force is applied to the plunger and a connected shifter is unlocked for shifting. A manual release is provided for coacting with the plunger for putting the solenoid into the second condition in the absence of power.
Two-Position (On-Off) Actuator With Modular Connector
An actuator housing provides a low-cost method of achieving electrical connection to the motor terminals of a DC motor in a two position HVAC actuator. The connector configuration interfacing with a controller or power supply is easily changed by making the connector a modular connector, providing an effective fluid ingress prevention. The modular connector design is fixed from the connector flange inward into a housing, and is flexible outward with respect to its pin configuration and shroud shape. This design allows different connector configurations to be utilized with minimal tooling investment. A capacitor can also be inserted and crimped to the connector pin stampings, prior to being over-molded, to provide EMI filtering.
