Vehicle Seat Track Assembly Having A Single Toothed Belt Drive Mechanism
Creative Seating Technologies, LLC - Northville MI
International Classification:
F16M 13/00
US Classification:
248424, 248429
Abstract:
A drive mechanism for a vehicle seat track assembly includes a housing and a motor having an output shaft. An output speed reducing mechanism is coupled to the output shaft. The motor and the output speed reducing mechanism are mounted to the housing. A toothed drive pulley is rotatably mounted to the housing and coupled to the output speed reducing mechanism. A first toothed pulley is rotatably mounted at a first end of the housing. A second toothed pulley is rotatably mounted at a second end of the housing. A continuous toothed belt is rotated by the toothed drive pulley and causes rotation of the first and second toothed pulleys.
A counterbalance hinge (′) for a vehicle closure includes a pivot and counterbalance assembly () having a cam () and a spindle () with a helical threaded connection biased by a spring (′) that provides closure counterbalancing. In one embodiment the spring () is of the helical tension type and another embodiment has the spring (′) of the helical compression type.
Two-Way Manual Seat Adjuster With Full Memory Easy Entry
A vehicle seat adjuster with an easy entry mechanism for releasing the seat latch to enable the seat to move forward upon a forward rotation of the seat back from its generally upright position. The easy entry mechanism includes a set position locator on the stationary rail of the seat adjustor to serve as a memory of the adjusted seat position to relatch the seat in its adjusted position upon return of the seat. During manual seat adjustment the set position locator is moved along with the seat assembly.
