Responsible on a daily basis to ensure the safety of the all crew members by inspecting all equipment and tools to be utilized Required to attend OSHA training classes and be up to date on OSHA regulations pertaining to job safety. Required to use and understand blueprints and schematics Required to take lead on jobs when instructed to do so by a supervisor. Required to ensure that all materials needed for a job were present on the job site. Required to maintain task and job completion deadlines. Required to perform installations of conduits, fuse boxes, and branch panels, duct banks, power poles ( switch, riser, and other poles used for overhead circuits, transformers (pole mount and pad mount), pad mounted switch gears, devices ( receptacles, switches and fixtures), Installing/pulling cable ranging from #14 THHN to 750 MCM, multi-conductor, armored core, and 500 shielded primary cables) Required to have ability to use standard hand tools of the trade (i.e.- side cutting pliers, wire strippers, tape measures, indent tools, fish tapes, etc), electronic tools (i.e.- multi meters, meggers, high -potential testers, amp probes and various standard electric cutting tools, drills, and cable tuggars), mechanical tools (i.e.- bucket trucks, line trucks, excavators, back hoes, ditch witches, jack hammers, etc.)
