Abstract:

A vane cluster has a platform, a shroud, and at least first and second airfoils extending between an outer face of the platform and an inner face of the shroud. Each airfoil has a pressure side and a suction side. The pressure side of the first airfoil faces the suction side of the second airfoil. The cluster includes a cooling passageway system. The system includes at least one inlet in the shroud. At least one first feed passageway extends from the shroud to the platform through the first airfoil. At least one second feed passageway extends from the shroud to the platform through the second airfoil. A first platform cooling plenum is to the pressure side of the first airfoil. A second platform cooling plenum is to the suction side of the first airfoil.

Abstract:

An approach is disclosed for providing navigation information for a requested listing to a mobile device caller of a directory assistance call. If the caller selects an option to receive driving directions to the listing destination, the directory assistance provider forwards the listing address to a platform that correlates the address with location coordinates. The platform can poll the calling device to obtain GPS identifying data for the mobile device and derive mapping and routing information.

Abstract:

This disclosure pertains to a one wheeled vehicle rotatably affixed to a yoke. One arm of the yoke is provided with a stationary foot rest. The other arm of the yoke contains a rack which when reciprocated operates a gear train causing the wheel to rotate. A platform is secured to the uppermost portions of the rack and is biased upwardly by a spring urging the rack in an uppermost position. A pole extends upwardly from the yoke providing steering control to the apparatus and a balancing aid to the user thereof.

An airfoil vane includes an outer ceramic wall that defines an airfoil section and a cavity that extends through the airfoil section.
