I am the mother of four amazing children who are as individual as night and day, yet bound together by our unique family ties. I was lucky to become a mother to my two oldest children through my marriage to their father. I consider their mother to be one of my closest friends and know that she feels the same about me. Together, we have done a great job of raising our children. Through this life, I have learned that family is what you make it and doesn't necessarily have anything at all to do with blood relatives. I now have 8 grandchildren, some that I see often, some that I see less often and some that I don't get to see at all. Whether we spend time together daily or not doesn't matter; each one has a piece of my heart that is reserved just for them and I love them with all the depth in my soul. I have worked in Corporate America and live to tell about it. The best part of Corporate America is leaving it behind and never looking back!
