Abstract:
A method and apparatus for editing an image having different levels of resolution in different places. The method has the steps of inputting data representing the image, displaying at least a portion of the image at a fractional-level between the levels of resolution. The method also has the steps of editing the image at the fractional-level of resolution, updating the image to create an edited version of the image, storing the edited version of the image, and outputting the edited version of the image.
