April of 2005. In addition to her business as usual workload, her early days here required significant effort and extra hours to address treasury “make-safe” issues, updates to all signing authority records, a comprehensive review of all banking relationships, and other process changes. All of these activities were deemed a high priority in the post-fraud environment. Debbie did a very good job of managing multiple priorities under stressful conditions. Debbie also made significant progress during a transitional period with little oversight (which) added challenges to an already difficult period but Debbie consistently demonstrated leadership and ownership qualities.
Overall, Debbie’s efforts have been successful while faced with several critical challenges such as implementing extensive banking controls, correcting control deficiencies.... She has faced these challenges with a positive, can-do attitude and has provided strong team leadership.

A collection device for collecting and preserving biological material. A longitudinal shaft is provided with a proximal end and a distal end. An absorbent solid matrix having at least one layer of chemically impregnated filter paper is affixed to the distal end of the shaft. The absorbent solid matrix consists of chemically impregnated filter paper and can have portions separated by perforations, or an inner core and a separable, overlapping outer layer. The absorbent solid matrix has a configuration that may include nubs, individual ribs, helical, filaments, and radial protrusions. Also disclosed is a tampon-like collection device for delivering an absorbent solid matrix.
Methods For Detecting The Presence Of Bacteria, Fungi, Parasites, And Viruses In A Test Sample And Treating A Patient
A method of testing for the presence of an infectious biomarker indicating bacteria, fungi, parasites, or viruses. A test sample comprising cellular and non-cellular material is collected from a patient, the test sample having a first amount of at least one infectious biomarker and a second amount of a host biomarker. The amount of the infectious biomarker(s) in the test sample is determined as is the amount of the host biomarker. The amount of infectious biomarker(s) in the test sample is normalized as a function of the amount of host biomarker therein. The normalizing step is a ratio of the first amount of the infectious biomarker(s) to the second amount of the host biomarker. The test sample is positive for a disease associated with the infectious biomarker(s) if the ratio is above a predetermined value. The normalized result is tracked over time to assess therapeutic response to treatment. A database is provided for interpreting results collected from the patient and for determining predictive sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic accuracy.
