Donal Pugh was shot twice, resulting in three bullet holes, Deborah Pugh said. He was shot in the leg, in the shoulder and through the armpit. Pugh said none of his vital organs were hit, and the bullet went through cleanly.As of Saturday night, Donal Pugh was in the intensive care unit at Freeman Hospital and could be released as early as today, Deborah Pugh said. She said her husband is more concerned about the other victims.

At least 1 dead after tornadoes flatten homes, businesses in Alabama, Mississippi
Deborah Pugh, spokeswoman for the Northeast Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, said the hospital received 24 patients. She was 20 had minor injuries and were expected to be treated and released. She four others were undergoing further evaluation.
The Northeast Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo had received 30 patients as of Monday night, four of whom were being admitted with non-life-threatening injuries, said center spokeswoman Deborah Pugh. Pugh said the other 26 patients were treated for minor injuries and released.

Students were transported to area hospitals. One was taken by helicopter to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Deborah Pugh, a spokeswoman for the facility, says three victims plus the person airlifted were treated there and three of the four were admitted.
