  • US Patent:
    49211170, May 1, 1990
  • Filed:
    May 20, 1988
  • Appl. No.:
    7/196608
  • Inventors:
    Domenick Mucciarone - Naples FL
  • International Classification:
    B65D 2300
  • US Classification:
    220 85H
  • Abstract:
A tumbler for consumption of beverage and food is prepared by removing the metal top from a standard aluminum can and fitting a thin plastic sleeve over the exterior side walls thereof. Said tumbler is reuseable, extremely strong and unbreakable, and has a glass-like feel. The can is easily replaced by slipping it out of the plastic sleeve and inserting a new can therein. The invention unexpectedly permits the reuse of empty, discarded aluminum cans but still allows recycling of the cans after being replaced in the plastic sleeve.

  • US Patent:
    57089906, Jan 20, 1998
  • Filed:
    Aug 29, 1996
  • Appl. No.:
    8/705593
  • Inventors:
    Domenick Mucciarone - Naples FL
  • International Classification:
    E03D 114
    E03D 5092
  • US Classification:
    4324
  • Abstract:
Water-saving device for flush toilet. A water-saving device as shown and described herein comprises a frame which can be mounted on the exterior of a conventional toilet water tank, a vertical shaft which is integrally formed on the frame for receiving a reciprocable lever mechanism, and a flush lever mechanism which comprises a vertical member which reciprocate vertically in the shaft and a horizontal extension which extends from the vertical member to the outside end of a conventional toilet tank flush handle. As installed, the outside end of this extension is positioned just above the outer end of the flush handle. When the toilet is not in use, the outer end of the extension will be positioned just above the flush handle. To use the device, a user presses the flush lever mechanism downwardly until it is stopped by a gap adjustment screw against the bias of a compression spring, so that the extension engages the flush handle, actuating the toilet tank flush valve to a partially open position. When the user releases the flush lever mechanism, the flush lever mechanism will return to its normal upward position, allowing the flush handle to return to its normal position so that the toilet tank flush valve closes.
