Abstract:

An accounting system is disclosed that provides support for an ability to preview a period-end closing process. When a preview option is activated, the system is configured to provide a view of transactions that would be generated if the period-end closing process were to be carried out. During the preview, the user may choose to continue the period-end closing process or cancel. If the user is satisfied with the preview results, continuing the process will generate actual corresponding closing transactions. If the user is not satisfied with the preview results, canceling the process will return the system to the state it was in before the preview process began.

The first balance sheet account is associated with a second balance sheet account. A computer implemented accounting system is provided facilitating multiple-dimension closings. A plurality of user-definable transaction dimensions can be selected as closing dimensions. Then, when a given accounting period is to be closed, closing journal entry lines and offsetting lines related to all unique combinations of closing dimensions are generated.

An accounting system is disclosed that provides support for posting transactions into historical accounting periods, including periods that pre-date the most recent historical period. In one embodiment, when such a transaction has been posted, corresponding closing entries are generated in order to update at least one permanent account (e.g., a retained earnings account) and/or to bring a correct beginning balance forward for one or more balance sheet accounts. Abstract:

A chamber air scrubber a chamber with an independent air scrubbing system for configured to adsorb plant odors and emissions. The scrubber includes air scrubbers for cleaning the air. The air scrubbers include a carbon portion with active carbon that adsorbs odors and emissions. The carbon portion includes an outer and an inner cylindrical frame that retain active carbon between them. The air scrubbers also include a series of fans that forces air through the carbon portion. The fans allow the air to pass from a lower chamber to an upper chamber. The air enters through an inlet in the lower chamber before passing over a liquid chiller. The air transfers the thermal energy generated by the plants to a vent in the upper chamber. This serves to eliminate odor from the plants.
