About:

Born and raised on the island of Islesboro, some 2 ½ miles from the mainland, I grew up exposed to the complexities and isolation of island living. For those who do not know our island community, it is located in Penobscot Bay, a twenty-minute ferry ride from Lincolnville Beach in one of the premier boating areas on the Atlantic coast. Dark Harbor, on the southern end of Islesboro, is dotted with fine Shingle Style summer cottages and elsewhere there are antique Capes, saltwater farms and contemporary homes, all full of the many wonderful and diverse people that I know or have known. My family owned a large General Store there, which I bought and operated for many years and experienced meeting people of varying backgrounds and personalities. I graduated from the University of Maine and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, prior to serving in the US Army, and became a licensed Broker in 1961. For 48 years I have sold Land (waterfront and inland), Estate Properties, Islands, and a wide variety of Residential Homes and Commercial Real Estate.
