Bragging Rights:

While I have more than one degree, Alverno College for Women, is near and dear to my heart. We excelled as women and raised to the ranks of President of Corporations, Hospital Heads, and owners of our own "successful" businesses. Their core value made us think, evaluate, and grow. Working with 4 other women we won 3rd place in the Phillip Morris Communication Competition among all the colleges in the U.S. The only females to ever compete. I think we might have won 1st place, but the taping of our presentation failed and the day we were scheduled in the "Studio", yes, a real "Studio", one had larngyst, another was seriously ill, and it was not the same presentation that we had orginally given. BUT WE WILL TAKE AND BE HAPPY TO HAVE ACHIEVED SOMETHING THAT NO OTHER FEMALE IN THE LAST CENTURY HAD EVER DREAMED POSSIBLE. Cudos to my classmates, it was a team effort. "Most don't understand the concept of being a 'team-player' but thankgoodness we did and do." I also was the first college student to speak at the over 4000 college professors Annusl Seminar ... what an honor! I am proud of my accomplishments, too numerous to list, and wish all those who know me or want to know me will share in this and feel the same pride I felt.
