A laminate having a moisture vapor transmission rate greater than one perm is formed from an open mesh fabric having a monolithic liquid barrier and vapor permeable coating provided on a surface thereof. The infiltration of air and bulk moisture to the interior of a building structure can be prevented by incorporating the laminate into the building structure. The laminate can also be used as a window flashing and vehicle undersiding to prevent the infiltration of air and bulk moisture.

Abstract:
A vehicle undersiding is attached to the frame of a vehicle to protect the underneath of the vehicle from external moisture and vapor. The vehicle undersiding is made up of a laminate having a first component comprising a first moisture and vapor barrier attached to a second component comprising a second moisture and vapor barrier. The undersiding provides extended protection to the underneath of the vehicle from damage by road debris and external moisture and vapor.

Abstract:
A vehicle floor assembly is made up of a floor and a liner provided underneath and attached to the floor. The liner is made up of a cellulosic or unwoven polymer fabric bonding layer laminated to a polymer fabric reinforcing layer. The polymer fabric of the reinforcing layer can either be woven or unwoven. This vehicle floor assembly has an improved moisture resistance and strength over conventional floor assemblies.
