Abstract:

An oscilloscope adapter for a portable electronic device includes a hardware interface connector and a computer program memory. The memory stores computer program instructions that direct the electronic device to collect data representative of a signal from an external source and display the data as a waveform comprising individual data values as a function of time. The user may select one or more of the scales of the graph. The adapter also may include one or more of a model waveform database, a collected waveform database, an application-specific database, and a language database.

A tire pressure monitor system module provides modular products with tire pressure monitor system functionality. The tire pressure monitor system module may be added to a modular product to provide tire pressure monitor system functionality. The tire pressure monitor system module may be a stand-alone module that may be attached, connected or in communication with a modular product. The tire pressure monitor system tool may include all of the functionality available to tire pressure monitor systems. Abstract:

A vehicle diagnostic data collector/analyzer compiles historical vehicle diagnostic data, including measured operating parameters from a number of different vehicles operating under a variety of normal vehicle operating conditions and vehicle component failure conditions, and performs statistical analyses on various vehicle type/operating condition combinations to establish operating parameter ranges corresponding to normal operating conditions and various failure conditions. The diagnostic data collector/analyzer also measures real-time operating parameters on specific test-subject vehicles and evaluates similarities and differences between the measured operating parameters and the established ranges, and correlates the test data with known operating conditions in order to diagnose potential failure modes of vehicle components.
