Abstract:
A method and device for treating asthma and respiratory disease. The method comprises selecting waveforms from a storage area that are representative of body organ function. The selected waveforms are then transmitted to a treatment member, which is in direct contact with the body, and which then broadcasts the waveforms to a specific body organ to modulate the body organ functioning. A control module is provided for transmission to the treatment member. The control module contains the waveforms which are selected and transmitted to the treatment member, and computer storage can be provided for greater storage capacity and manipulation of the waveforms.

Abstract:
A method and device for modulating blood pressure. The method comprises selecting waveforms from a storage area that are representative of body organ function. The selected waveforms are then transmitted to a treatment member, which is in direct contact with the body, and which then broadcasts the waveforms to a target zone to modulate blood pressure. A control module is provided for transmission to the treatment member. The control module contains the waveforms which are selected and transmitted to the treatment member, and computer storage can be provided for greater storage capacity and manipulation of the waveforms.

Abstract:
A monolithic device ( ) for providing defibrillation, pacing, and cardiac paralysis of a heart. Various electronic waveforms are generated by the device and are selected for the type of control required. Defibrillation and pacing of a human heart from outside the body employs defibrillation circuitry having an electromotive force of less than or equal to approximately 200 volts. Digital circuitry for generating direct current waveforms to the heart is employed.

Abstract:
A method and device for controlling autonomic or sympathic nerve stimulation of the gastrointestinal tract. The method comprises selecting waveforms from a storage area that are representative of body organ function. The selected waveforms are then transmitted to a treatment member, which is in direct contact with the body or attached to internal targets, and which then broadcasts the waveforms to a specific body organ to modulate the body organ functioning. A control module is provided for transmission to the treatment member. The control module contains waveforms which are selected and transmitted to the treatment member, and computer storage can be provided for greater storage capacity and manipulation of the waveforms.

Abstract:
An emergency trauma stretcher comprised of flexible fabric such that the stretcher may be rolled or folded into a package for easy transport into locations where traditional stretchers are either not appropriate or not available. The stretcher is comprised of a support structure and handles. The support structure is comprised of longitudinal support members and lateral support members that are joined together at overlapping intersections. The handles are formed by looping the longitudinal and lateral support members at predetermined locations.

Abstract:
A non-invasive vagal stimulation device and method. The device comprises a body having a vibration member. The stimulation is created by the vibration member which has a vibratory rate that can be adjusted from being off to a preferred operating range. The non-invasive stimulation method consists of placing the non-invasive stimulation device in the vicinity of the carotid artery bifrication where arises a carotid sinus and body which contain afferent sensory nerves that travel to medulla oblongata of brain, and either applying pressure in place, or moving the device along the target arm. The method can be accomplished either with the vibration feature of the device turned on or off.
