Bragging Rights:

I raised a son (now 27) pretty much on my own and with a little help from the state whereby I was able to get a teaching credential in the State of California and find gainful employment for about l7 years. (this is something I'd rather not dwell on, now and possibly not in the unforeseeable future).. But I am proud of my sensitive, unpredictable son who has had to deal with me all his life and who hasn't had enough time with a male role model to refer to. Nonetheless he is definitely no mama's boy because he pretty much ignores me until I threaten to call any or all of his friends or just flat out show up on his doorstep. When I don't hear from him, I always think he has already used up his one phone call from jail or had his cell phone confiscated and my phone number is just a dim memory. This is so distracting right now--I can't figure out why what I am keying in shows up as a ticker tape message instead of a neat paragraph like the "Introduction" diatribe turned into as I was typing it. Is this the right time to reveal that I've been diagnosed bipolar recently? Oops I didn't mean to let that slip in here, but I have heard that there are some pretty creative human beings who fall into that category. Einstein comes to mind right now, but there's a bevy of them on a list somewhere that I mean to tack on to the beginning of one of these ticker tape sentences next time one starts. Look up ticker tape on wikipedia because I can't ezplain it coherently here or maybe I just don't want to. (Bipolar, remember?) Hmmmm Do I really want to push the "Save" button on this? Oh I can edit it later. Yay!
