Abstract:
The present invention provides a Malaria antigen-carrier conjugate, which comprises a carrier protein and a plurality of antigen polypeptides. Each of the antigen polypeptides is a wild-type antigen protein of or a derivative of the wild-type antigen protein, and each of the antigen polypeptides may be the same, or different. The plurality of antigen polypeptides are covalently linked to the carrier protein. The present invention further provides a vaccine against malaria, which comprises the conjugate absorbed on an aluminum adjuvant.

Intellectually precocious, he entered Dartmouth at 16. While there, he picked up his lifelong nickname, Chick. More important, he also met a Vassar student named Elizabeth Flanagan. They wed during Dr. Coops first year at Cornell Medical School.Elizabeth Flanagan Koop died in 2007. Dr. Koop married Cora Hogue in 2010. In addition to his wife, of Hanover, Dr. Koop leaves two sons, Allen and Norman; a daughter, Elizabeth Thompson; and eight grandchildren.

He got his medical degree from Cornell Medical College. While at Dartmouth, he met Elizabeth Flanagan, a Vassar student, and they married in 1938.
In 1938, Koop married Elizabeth Flanagan, the daughter of a Connecticut doctor. They had four children Allen, Norman, David and Elizabeth. David, their youngest son, was killed in a mountain-climbing accident when he was 20.
