Abstract:

By providing a pre-printed housing member which is shipped or stored in a completely folded, flat configuration and quickly and easily erected from its flat, generally two-dimensional configuration into a three-dimensional promotional display and product holding or storing member, a printed, visually exciting and interest-generating, easily erected advertising/promotional display and storage system is obtained. In one embodiment, multiple compartments are integrally formed and automatically created during the erection process, thereby enabling a plurality of different materials to be placed in the display/storage system. In a second embodiment, a plurality of stackable and interchangeable members are created, thereby achieving a multi-tiered storage system, for any desired products or items.

Abstract:

By providing a pre-printed promotional holding system which can be produced in a wide variety of alternate forms and/or configurations and which employs a pre-folded, fully assembled panel system which is quickly and easily converted from a substantially flat configuration into a three-dimensional, fully constructed configuration, a hands-on, printed, visually exciting and interest generating advertising/promotional product and holding system is attained. This previously unattainable result is realized in the present invention. In the preferred embodiment, the panel system automatically produces, when moved into its three-dimensional configuration, a fully enclosed, rectangular shaped box incorporating an arcuately pivotable cover plate preferably associated with the top surface of the box. This unique, automatic box-forming construction is achieved by employing a single sheet of material formed and cut to effectively create two, cooperating, rectangular shaped, four sided, foldable panel assemblies, which are interconnected with each other and constructed in a fully integrated, cooperating relationship.

Abstract:

This invention relates to a folding card that displays one picture when closed and another picture when opened, comprising three hinged panels which form a front cover, a rear cover and an inside panel. Positioned partially in upper and lower channels formed by flanges hinged to the inside cover are a stationary picture unit and a movable picture unit. The picture units are each made of two subunits formed with slots and strips which are fitted together with the strips partially overlapping. The two picture units are mated together, and an extension of the moving picture unit is attached to the front cover. When the assembled picture card is in a closed position, the strips of the movable unit are displayed; when opened, the extension pulls the movable picture unit to the left causing its strips to smoothly slide behind the now displayed strips of the stationary unit as a result of the overlapping construction.
