Abstract:

Electronic data files are broadly characterized as “messages” and a social network is constructed by analyzing one or more messages exchanged between various entities. Additionally, messages from structured and/or unstructured data stores are correlated using one or more common/related data elements from two or more messages. Further, the social network and the concepts contained in the exchanged messages (i. e. semantic network) can be visualized using a series of multi-aspect viewing tools. Finally, in conjunction with the social network and the semantic network, a message network based on the chronological relationship of the messages (event network) can be constructed to analyze and visualize how the messages relate to each other in a time-based reference model. Once visualized, the relationship of the concepts contained in the messages as well as the relationship between the entities and the timing involved in the exchange of messages can be analyzed for desired information.

A system and method for generating graphical representations of message-related relationships is provided. Messages exchanged between at least two entities are analyzed. Data elements are extracted from the messages. Concepts are identified based on the extracted data elements. A social network is created based on the exchanged messages. Each entity is represented by a node. One or more links are created between at least two of the nodes. Each link represents the messages exchanged between the entities represented by the at least two nodes. A representation of the social network is provided. The concepts associated with the exchanged messages are displayed with the social network.

Abstract:

A system and method for propagating classification decisions is provided. Text marked within one or more unclassified documents that is determined to be responsive to a predetermined issue is received from a user. The unclassified documents are selected from a corpus. A search query is generated from the responsive text. Same result documents are identified by applying inclusive search parameters to the query, applying the search query to the corpus, and identifying the documents that satisfy the query. Similar result documents are identified by adjusting a breadth of the query by applying less inclusive search parameters and identifying documents from the corpus that satisfy the query. A responsive classification code is automatically assigned to each same result document for classification as responsive documents. The similar documents are provided to the user. A responsive classification decision is received from the user for classification as the responsive documents.

A system and method for displaying message-related relationships is provided. Messages are analyzed by identifying entities associated with each message, wherein the entities include senders and recipients of the messages and by accumulating a number of messages communicated between each sender and each recipient. A social network is created by connecting one or more of the senders and recipients via a link based on the number of messages communicated between that sender and that recipient. A system and method for formulating data search queries is presented. A user interface operable to specify an unstructured search criteria for a search query on one or more documents is provided. An input portal is exported to receive a data excerpt selected to be searched against the documents. A selectable inclusiveness control is exported to specify a granularity of inclusion of matching tokens within each document. A selectable proximity control is exported to specify a degree of nearness of the tokens within each document. Tokens derived from the data excerpt and parameters corresponding to the granularity of inclusion and the degree of nearness are compiled into the search query.

Disclosed herein are embodiments of a computerized system and method of validating an application contained within a multimedia transport stream. Such embodiments can include the steps of, or structure for, reading data from a multimedia transport stream by a computer, the data representing an application that presents viewable content when executed by a display device and comprises a reference to an identifier of an external resource utilized by the application during execution; and prior to delivery of the multimedia transport stream to a display device, modifying the multimedia transport stream by the computer such that the external resource is not requested by the display device. In some embodiments, the transport stream is modified in response to the computer determining that the external resource is not available.

A method of implementing sub-table replication starts with the processor detecting an update to an entitlements table. The processor performs filtering of a data table based on the update to the entitlements table. The data table including an entitlements column. The processor detects an update to the entitlements column and performs incremental replication of the data table by causing a version-based replication to be executed.
