Abstract:
An interbody vertebral implant for facilitating fusion of adjacent vertebrae. The implant includes a first end plate, a second end plate, and an intermediate member disposed therebetween. The end plates are configured to allow bone in-growth. The intermediate member may include features to engage the end plates and to prevent over insertion of the intermediate member within the end plates. The implant may include a cavity extending through the composite implant configured to receive bone growth material to facilitate fusion between a first vertebra and a second vertebra.

Abstract:
An information handling system chassis having a passivated surface accepts electrical communication through a conductive ink disposed on a portion of the surface from which the passivation is removed. For example, a magnesium chassis passivated with phosphate has a portion mechanically cleaned and conductive ink placed over the cleaned portion with a pad printing process. The conductive ink provides electrical communication between the chassis and other portions of the chassis, processing component grounds and other electrical connection needs.

Abstract:
This disclosure provides methods and devices for determining a quantitative estimate of syndecan-1 levels in a mammalian subject suspected of internal hemorrhaging. The method includes applying a blood sample from the subject to a hand-held assay device capable of providing optical quantitation of the amount of syndecan-1 in the sample, measuring, by means of said assay device, an analyte signal value correlated to a concentration of the syndecan-1 in the blood sample and comparing the analyte signal value to a minimum threshold, wherein an analyte signal value less than the minimum threshold indicates that the subject is not internally hemorrhaging, and an analyte signal value above the minimum threshold indicates the subject is internally hemorrhaging. The methods and devices are adapted to rapidly assess internal hemorrhaging and hemorrhagic shock in a patient outside of hospital settings.
Provided is a process including: obtaining, for a plurality of entities, datasets; and orchestrating an object-orientated application or service by: forming a plurality of objects, forming object-oriented labeled datasets based on an event and the attributes of each of the datasets; forming a library or framework of classes with a plurality of object-orientation modelors; and forming a plurality of object-manipulation functions, each function being configured to leverage a respective class among the library or framework of classes.
