Abstract:

Various embodiments facilitate the management of receiving device health. One embodiment provides a receiving device health manager that identifies receiving devices having degraded operational states, based on operational state data received from those receiving devices. The receiving device health manager may further determine and initiate corrective actions with respect to the identified receiving devices, based on information about customers associated with the receiving devices and/or about the receiving devices themselves. In one embodiment, a corrective action may include a customer service contact to schedule a receiving device repair visit by a technician. Abstract:

System, method and computer program for distributing updates to software in a plurality of client servers. A client management server includes a first program to determine what updates to the software are needed for installation at each of the client servers. A distribution server obtains the needed software updates from one or more software vendors and furnishes the needed software updates to the client management server. The client management server further includes a second program to install the needed software updates at the client servers, a third program to determine what updates to the first program are needed for installation at the client management server, and a fourth program to install the needed program updates at the client management server. The distribution server furnishes the needed program updates to the client management server. Staging or installation of the software updates can be simulated and the simulation results displayed to a user before the actual staging or installation of the software updates. After installation of the software updates, the client servers can be rebooted at different times to maintain availability of the software to users.

An apparatus for a sauna includes a first and second heating element. The first heating element has a first conductive path and is coupled to pass a current. The second heating element has a second conductive path that runs adjacent to the first conductive path. The second heating element substantially blocks an electric field produced within the first heating element. The first conductive path is coupled to redirect the current to the second conductive path and set up complementary magnetic fields between the first and second heating elements.
