Description:
My website is spring hill tn homes for sale, which is the best way to reach me. My father is a Franklin, TN native, but I was born while he was in medical school in Memphis. Then, he joined the Army, and we traveled all over the world but ended up back in Thompsons Station to be close to family and so that I could attend BGA, where both my father and uncle went to high school. I already had my license because I helped my father manage his investment property. He got me interested in real estate investing, and I bought my first investment property when I was 21. I was able to clean and do some small repairs and sell it for a profit several months later. Since I already had an interest in real estate, I decided to pursue it as a career. I went to college at MTSU. I had a brief run in accounting but quickly escaped from that career path. I had always worked and gone to college at the same time, but it was taking so long to graduate that I thought I might go crazy. So, I got permission to take 21 hours and graduate. During that semester, I continued to work part-time, helping two families find a new home, and got a 4.0 for the semester. I don't say this to brag but to let you know my dedication to real estate. To start my career, I worked as an assistant to the top Keller Williams agent in Franklin. I learned a lot from that year, and then ventured out on my own. I've been involved in real estate in some way since ‘03, and I've had my license since ‘05. By '08, I was in the top 20 of about 200 Keller Williams agents in Franklin. Every realtor in our area has access to our local MLS software. This software has a simple search feature where agents can find homes based on square footage, bedrooms, etc, but our software also has features where we can search tax records, maps, and certain keywords in the realtor remarks. These more complex features are taught in classes put on by our MLS association. Many agents don't take the time to get this training, but I want to let you know that I've taken all the training that's available. I sometimes have agents asking me how to do certain tasks on the MLS. I'm happy to help, but I have to wonder how they're able to find homes for their clients without knowing how to use the software.
