About Me I've been selling Real Estate since March, 2000 and have sold over 250 houses with combined total sales of over $40,000,000! I realize communication, honesty, and humor are the key points in ALL relationships. I work with first time and thousandth time buyers, sellers, relocaters, upsizers, downsizers, resizers and everyone in between. My husband works for Union Pacific Railroad and I have worked with a considerable number of transferees. My husband and I are Omaha natives. We have two (slightly insane) children and a (completely insane) silver labrador. I love living in Omaha and know the area better than anyone else does because I'm smarter than the rest. Okay, maybe not, but I'm trying to convince you here..... I enjoy a good sense of humor, and believe that since you only live once, it is imperative that you make the best of it. It's been said that I have a "rapier wit and sophisticated humor." (I'm the one that said it and I stole the line from a Nelson DeMille book, but I digress....) Professional Profile For Sellers: I will not hesitate to tell you what you need to do in order to get your home in "sale condition." Believe me, NONE of us live in our homes they way we sell them. For example, the three-day old dishes in my sink and laundry strewn all over the staircase and hallway are NOT the way my home would be if it were for sale. I also would not have my children's artistic Crayola abilities all over the lower third of my walls. I'd have to paint, clean, disinfect, defunk, declutter and probably put the children and dog "on loan" to a nice family while we are on the market. For Buyers: I will not walk you into a house that smells like a combo of dog, smoke and two year old yogurt or has carpets the color of said yogurt and then tell you how with a little "elbow grease" you can make it your own. If the house isn't worth it, it's not worth it. You have to live in it, you have to pay for it, and because of that, you have to love it. I have the patience to work with you until you find that love - I will not settle for you settling on a home. Together, we'll take the time to do it right and find you the right home. I find the "thrill of the hunt" very fun. I am available to show you houses anytime, day or night. For Both: I have a sickness that does not allow me to be more than five feet away from my phone at any given time. If you call and I don't answer, it is for one of two reasons: 1. It's broke, or 2.
