Abstract:
A game station for presenting a plurality of games for play to a player is disclosed. The game station includes a base unit. The base unit has a supporting base portion and at least one generally planar playing surface positioned above the base portion and extending outwardly of at least a portion of the supporting base for accepting the legs of a player thereunder. The base unit also includes a console extending upwardly from the generally planar playing surface. A first display and a second display are associated with the console and are adapted to display information to a player. The supporting base portion defines an interior space housing at least one game controller for presenting a game to the player on at least one of the first and second displays. In one embodiment, the game station defines two distinct player areas, each having a playing surface and displays. In one embodiment, the game station is arranged to present a Class II game and a Class III game on the displays, and also permit the player to play a game on the playing surface. In one embodiment, information in addition to game information may be displayed on one or both of the displays. This information may comprise other than game content, such as a movie, the Internet, a video feed from another location such as a child care facility, or television. In one embodiment, a common credit acceptance device is provided which permits a player to allocate provided credit to the games as desired for establishing entitlement to play the games.

Abstract:
A game station is configured to present multiple games to each of two players. The game station includes a base unit having first and second playing surfaces extending outwardly for supporting game cards used to play a game. A console extends upwardly between the playing surfaces and supports first and second side-by-side electronic video displays on each side facing the player surfaces. Independent game controllers are provided for each of the displays for presenting individual games at each of the displays. The game station includes wager accepting devices for playing the games presented on the video displays. The game station includes player conveniences such as seat, coat hook, and transparent game card cover extending over the playing surfaces. The game station as configured permits players located at each side of the station to engage in the play of at least three independent games concurrently.
