Abstract:
A sub-fractional Horsepower motor, intended for use with a worm on its output shaft, is positioned adjacent a servo actuator housing with the motor shaft disposed adjacent to and oriented generally parallel to the housing. The housing is provided with a resiliently deflectable rear motor mounting stanchion having a camming surface and a front motor mounting stanchion, both preferably formed integrally as a one-piece member with the housing. Upon assembly into the housing, the motor is maintained in its parallel orientation and moved in a single direction normal to the shaft to contact the camming surfaces, on the rear stanchion and deflects and snap-locks into the stanchion and the rear stanchion biases the motor axially such that the opposite shaft end of the motor registers against one surface of the front stanchion. A limit stop is provided and located in the housing from the one surface of the front stanchion for limiting axial movement of the motor shaft when the motor worm is engaged with a worm gear in housing.

Abstract:
A solenoid operated spool valve has a dampening reservoir formed at one end of the spool and which is ported for immersion in a fluid sump. The reservoir port is oriented vertically above the spool and a cap with an offset port is received over the reservoir port to baffle fluid flow from the reservoir and prevent the reservoir from draining when the port is fluid starved in the sump.

Abstract:
A dual sided connector block for a solenoid is provided which may be used in multiple designs. The dual sided connector block includes a base, a first terminal insertion slot on a first side of the base, a second terminal insertion slot on the second side of the base, a tie-off post, and a magnet wire. The magnet wire is operatively configured as a solenoid coil and is routed inside of the base and wound around the tie off post. The magnet wire is accessible to a connector blade inserted through either the first terminal insertion slot or the second terminal insertion slot.

Abstract:
A method of assembling a pressure sensing module includes affixing a pressure sensor unit to an alignment tool and indexing the alignment tool to a circuit board. After the pressure sensor unit is attached to the circuit board, a seal plate is indexed thereto. A locator feature indexes receptacle elements on the circuit board, alignment tool, and seal plate. An integrated seal module includes a mounting plate having first and second opposing faces, and at least one locator hole and one or more pressure passages extending therethrough. A unitary seal member effects a fluid seal between the pressure ports and the first face and the pressure sources and the second face. A seal member and locator bushings may be formed as a single, continuous liquid injection molded framework, including portions encased by the mounting plate. Pressure passages provide fluid to pressure sensors, which may be overmolded in the mounting plate.
