Abstract:

A process of toilet training a subject to encourage urination in a toilet. Urease and color changing first pH indicator are introduced into water a toilet bowl of the toilet. In the presence of urine in the water the urease reacts with the urine to create a by-product that causes the color changing first pH indicator to change to a first color at a first pH thereby encouraging the subject to urinate in the toilet. A composition is provided that includes urease, color changing first pH indicator an excipient comprising citric acid, a binder, or a combination thereof. A kit is provided for the composition, a container for the composition, and instructions for using the composition during toilet training.

Abstract:

A storage stable package is provided that includes a polymeric bottle having a volume filled with an aqueous saline composition acidified with an acid to a pH of 2 to 9 and having a hypertonic saline concentration relative to saliva and blood, or an aqueous hydrogen peroxide composition acidified with an acid to a pH of 2.7 to 5.3 and having a hydrogen peroxide concentration 0.5 to 3 total weight percent, either to achieve a storage stability at 20 degrees Celsius of the composition of at least 10 weeks. The aqueous composition is independent of a synthetic antimicrobial. A cap is provided that is complementary a package opening for selectively sealing the aqueous saline composition within the volume. A process for treating an infection of a pharyngeal or buccal cavity is provided that includes rinsing with one of the aqueous saline composition. The aqueous saline composition is then expectorated.

Abstract:

A method of applying ultrasound gel including the steps of removing a barrier separating a reagent and a lubricating gel. The reagent and the lubricating gel are separated within a single packaging. Mixing the reagent and the lubricating gel to produce a lubricating gel mixture. The mixing causes an exothermic reaction configured to selectively heat the lubricating gel to a desired temperature. Opening the packaging to permit the release of the lubricating gel mixture and then distributing the lubricating gel mixture onto a patient.
