Abstract:
Certain embodiments and aspects of the present invention relate to a photobioreactor including photobioreactor units through which a liquid medium stream and a gas stream flow. The photobioreactor units are floated on a body of water such as a pond or a lake. The liquid medium comprises at least one species of phototrophic organism therein. Certain methods of using the photobioreactor system as part of fuel generation system and/or a gas-treatment process or system at least partially remove certain undesirable pollutants from a gas stream. In certain embodiments, the photobioreactor units are formed of flexible, deformable material and are configured to provide a substantially constant thickness of liquid medium. In certain embodiments, a barrier between the photobioreactor unit and the body of water upon which the unit is floated facilitates thermal communication between the liquid medium and the body of water.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein are antibodies and compositions used for binding to Gal3. Some embodiments allow for disrupting interactions between Galectin-3 (Gal3) and cell surface markers and/or proteins associated with neurological diseases and/or proteopathies, such as Alzheimer's disease. Additionally, disclosed herein are methods of treatment and uses of the antibodies or binding fragments thereof for the treatment of fibrosis, liver fibrosis, kidney fibrosis, cardiac fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, sepsis, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, cancer, brain cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, kidney cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, bladder cancer, stomach cancer, hematological malignancy, neurological diseases and/or proteopathies. Furthermore, some embodiments provided herein can cross the blood-brain barrier and can be conjugated or otherwise associated with one or more payloads for the treatment of a neurological disease.

Abstract:
A system for reconstructing wafer maps of semiconductor wafers includes: a processor; and memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: receive test data of a wafer at sparse sampling locations of the wafer, the sparse sampling locations being selected based on a probing mask; and compute a reconstructed wafer map by performing compressed sensing with Zernike polynomials on the test data at sparse locations of the wafer.
