Hybrid search results are provided based on analyzing a web-query and a location. Hybrid search results may include a web-search result and an event-search result. The event-search result may be identified based on identifying a location associated with the search engine user and the web-query. The event-search result may include event details, such as time, location and descriptive information. Additionally, an event-alert link may be provided. An event-alert link may allow a user to receive updates related to an event.

Abstract:

Systems, methods, and computer media for providing query-dependent audio and video clip previews are provided. Using the systems and methods described herein, an identification of an audio or video clip relevant to a user search query is received. The user search query has one or more keywords. Occurrences of the keywords and the locations of the occurrences are identified in a transcription of the identified audio or video clip. Clip segments are extracted from the audio or video clip. Each extracted clip segment includes an identified keyword occurrence. A query-dependent clip preview is created that includes at least one extracted clip segment. The query-dependent clip preview can be provided in search results for the user search query to provide an informative preview that is specific to the query to which the clip is relevant.

Abstract:

Methods, systems, and apparatus for controlling an inventory of an item for sale are described. A demand for the item and an inventory of the item are projected. A recommended future time period for listing the item for sale is determined based on the projected demand and the projected inventory and is provided to a user listing the item on an online marketplace. A user-selected listing time period is obtained and an item record generated comprising an item description, the item record being associated with the user-selected listing time period.
