Abstract:

The primary A-tact systems allow individuals to create a barrier in a hostile environment and still defend themselves. An area such as a cockpit or a room deemed a safe room to protect the individuals inside without exposing them to a confrontation. The A-tact system can locate a threat and neutralize it without the use of deadly force. Using cameras, the system is activated by the Systems Operator. The system then defends the area by one of three means. Either, infrared, pressure switch or proximity switch. Several heads are mounted together forming a power bar. The power bar targets and electronically stuns and immobilizes the aggressor. In an airplane, the Systems Operator can target 8 individuals plus the cockpit door is designed to defend itself from 2 more aggressors. The aggressors can be restrained still attached to the wire system and reactivated at any time.

Abstract:

A clip-on waistband extender for engaging an eye slot member and a waistband hook member of a garment to increase a fastened distance between the eye slot member and the waistband hook member of a waistband section of the garment to provide comfort to the wearer. The clip-on waistband extender includes a bar member having a first end and a second end; the bar member is used for bridging a gap between the eye slot member and the waistband hook member located on the waistband section of the garment. The first end of the bar member includes a hook member for detachably engaging onto the eye slot member on the waistband section of the garment; and the second end of the bar member includes at least one or more channeled slot members for detachably engaging onto the waistband hook member on the waistband section of the garment so as to bridge the gap and to increase the fastened distance between the eye slot member and the waistband hook member located on the waistband section of the garment for expanding the waist of the garment in order to provide comfort to the wearer. Each of the channeled slot members is spaced-apart at the second end of the bar member in order to increase or decrease the fastened distance between the eye slot member and the waistband hook member on the waistband section of the garment in order to expand the waist size of the garment.

Abstract:

A dermal punch device for automatically extracting a sample of tissue of a predetermined size and shape from a body comprising a retractable cutter and a sutureless biopsy closure mechanism that includes a wound closure fastener member adapted to be disposed over a biopsy region after the performance of the biopsy, wherein wound closure fastener member is automatically applied without the need of several instruments to seal the wound. The wound closure fastener member is dispensed by a sutureless biopsy closure dispenser located at the same distal end of the biopsy punch device surrounding the biopsy punch cutter assembly avoiding the need of separates instruments, reducing the wound closing steps and surgical procedure time.
