Holt " Frank Lee Holt " is a professor of ancient history at the University of Houston, and is an expert on ancient military and classical history, in particular on classical Greece and Rome The majority of his literary work has focused on Alexander the Great, with his most notable publications being: " Into the Land of Bones: Alexander the Great in Afghanistan ", " Alexander the Great and the Mystery of the Elephant Medallions ", " Thundering Zeus: The Making of Hellenistic Bactria ", and " Alexander the Great and Bactria: The formation of a Greek Frontier in Central Asia ".
