Abstract:
A helmet, such as for equestrian sports, includes an outer shell formed by an upper dome and a lower ring attached to a bottom edge of the upper dome by screws. The assembled arrangement is particularly strong but is adapted to facilitate molding and further has a traditional equestrian helmet appearance. A removable faceguard includes legs shaped to upwardly fit into downwardly-open cavities formed within the ring, and includes latches pivoted to the legs for snap-attachment to lateral surfaces within the cavities. The latches are made of a material optimized for durability and resiliency, and are preferably of a material different than the faceguard itself.
A disposable sheet of absorbent material including at least one adhesive element on a bottom surface to releasably secure the sheet to a floor or other surface. The sheet may be included in a pad or roll containing a plurality of such sheets adhesively and releasably connected together. A pad of such sheets may include a hole through the sheets to enable the pad to be stored on a hook. The sheets may be configured in a variety of different shapes to conform to different sized toilets and urinals and may include decorative graphics, writings, and various colors or textures to provide a means of advertising, concealing drips and stains, and improving the appearance of a restroom. The sheets may also be configured to be used at the bottom of bird cages, small animal cages, the floors of kitchens and foodservice areas of restaurants.
A durable, low-cost, disposable absorbent sheet construction of layers ultrasonically secured together, including a permeable top layer, an upper absorbent layer, an impermeable layer that prevents moisture passage, a lower absorbent layer, and a permeable bottom layer. The layers are ultra-sonically bonded at point locations, which provides a low-cost secure attachment and further provides an attractive pattern to the sheet. Also, the bonding forms depressions that facilitate entry of water into the absorbent layers. Repositionable adhesive on the bottom layer provides secure but repositionable attachment to a floor surface. An anti-microbial agent and/or an air freshening agent can be added to the absorbent layer as desired.
A helmet, such as for equestrian sports, includes an impact resistant outer helmet shell formed to cover a portion of a wearer's head, the shell having an upper dome and also having a lower rim extending around the dome. The shell has lateral side portions with outer surfaces that are relatively smooth, and further has integrally formed attachment structure (receptors) with downward openings such that they are not visible from the sides of the helmet. A faceguard has arms with integrally formed latches that engage the receptors with an audible click. The latches can be pinched to release the faceguard with a smooth easy motion.
Advertising Panel And Electronic Timing Device For Floor Mats
A floor mat with a recess therein for matably receiving and frictionally retaining a block with a top surface for advertising, branding, or other messages. An electrical circuit in the block includes a timer, a battery and an LED light, and is configured to illuminate the light after the timer times out, thus indicating when the absorbent sheet on top of the mat or the mat itself needs to be replaced.
Device For Generating Virtual Golf Holes For Use On Traditional Greens
A device for generating virtual golf holes on a green includes a housing configured for coupling to a golf pin at a distance above a green, one or more cameras located within the housing, the one or more cameras configured to gather data from an area of the green surrounding the golf pin, one or more speakers located within the housing and a processor located within the housing and communicably connected with the one or more cameras and the one or more speakers, the processor configured for generating an internal representation of one or more virtual golf holes around the golf pin, reading the data from the one or more cameras, determining whether a golf ball detected by the one or more cameras has entered the one or more virtual golf holes, and activating the one or more speakers to play one or more audible sounds if the golf ball detected by the one or more cameras is determined to have entered the one or more virtual golf holes.
