Abstract:

An ergonomic cushion apparatus includes an upper body cushion portion which includes a neck-cushion-reception channel and first upper cushion attachment straps. A flexible hinge is connected to the upper body cushion portion. A lower body cushion portion is connected to the flexible hinge. The lower body cushion portion includes first lower cushion attachment straps and includes attachment means for a lumbar cushion and a lumbar cushion attached thereto. Also, second upper cushion attachment straps are connected to the upper body cushion portion, and second lower cushion attachment straps are connected to the lower body cushion portion. A neck cushion is received in the neck-cushion-reception channel. A recliner chair frame assembly is provided for supporting the ergonomic cushion apparatus. The upper body cushion portion includes a pair of inwardly directed concave arm-reception regions located along opposite edges of the upper body cushion portion.

Abstract:

In a particle measuring system, a burette is provided to enable the rate of flow to a particle sensor of the particle measuring system to be continuously monitored and controlled. The burette has a central chamber and an outer chamber from which the central chamber can overflow. The central chamber of the burette is connected with the flow sample and the rate of flow through the particle sensor is measured by measuring the rate of displacement of the surface of the liquid sample in the central chamber. The rate of sonic transmission through the sample is measured by reflecting pulses from the surface of the sample at the time the central chamber overflows.

A method of funding environmentally-driven public or private works projects (e.g., stormwater management and diesel fuel usage and emissions reduction projects, and generally any environmentally-driven project) that creates legacy utility or user fee-based programs so as to address urgent or mandated, environmental-related public concerns. The fund is employed to allow for projects to pass from concept to feasibility to operations stages without the need for interruption due to financial resources. Projects include any local government, State or County-influenced government, or private industry-focused initiative that triggers negative public attention and/or any potential federal sanction, penalty, or specific public notice or cost due to inaction, lack of study, or lack of seed funding mechanism. Examples include stormwater management, NPDES, floodplain management, water supply development, coastal shore protection development, wetlands banking, natural resources protection area, parks protection, water/wastewater systems, industrial air pollution abatement, diesel fuel use and emissions reductions, or other environmental development concerns.
