    A method of producing polyurethane pads and other articles has the steps of providing at least one polyurethane layer having a first curing agent, providing a second polymer layer having a second curing agent, providing a connecting layer between the first and second layers with the first curing agent as in the first polyurethane layer, and subjected the layers to a thermal treatment so that the same first curing agent migrates from the connecting layer to the first polyurethane layer and vice versa. Also, an article produced by the method is proposed.

    A method of producing abrasive tools with abrasive particles consisting of AlOhas the steps of producing a mixture of initial components with particles of Al(OH), forming blanks of an abrasive tool from the mixture of the initial components with the particles of AL(OH), subsequently producing the abrasive tools with the abrasive particles of AlOby subjecting the blanks to a heat treatment such that the particles of Al(OH)are converted into the abrasive particles of AlOin the tools, wherein the forming includes rolling a sheet from the mixture of the initial components with the particles of Al(OH)before the heat treatment and conversion of the particles of Al(OH)the abrasive particles of AlOwhich particles of Al(OH)are softer than the abrasive particles of AlOand therefore do not damage a rolling equipment, and thereafter separating the blanks of the abrasive tools from the sheet for the subjecting to the heat treatment.
