An apparatus for inserting filler elements such as sealing plugs within electrical connectors includes a threaded connector, a serrated grip, an ergonomic handle and a hollow tube for receiving filler elements of various sizes. The hollow tube assembly may be interchangeable with variously sized hollow tubes to accommodate the various sized filler elements.
Method And Apparatus For Optimally Tuning Clock Signals For Digital Computers
In a first searching mode of the control program for the microprocessor, the microprocessor starts with a selected clock input and associated delay circuit and sets the delay circuit to an initial clocking point which is intermediate to the minimum and maximum delay points. The microprocessor then, at each pass of the control program, successively increments the delay period interposed by the delay circuit to cause the clock pulse to arrive later and later in time at the clock input until the associated circuit fails, to indicate the late clocking failure limit. In the second searching mode of the microprocessor control program, the microprocessor starts at the late clocking failure limit and at each subsequent pass of the program successively decrements the delay period interposed by the delay circuit to cause the clock signal to arrive earlier and earlier in time until the semiconductor device fails again, to indicate the early clocking failure limit. The early clocking failure limit and the late clocking failure limit together define the clocking window for the semiconductor device. The microprocessor sets the delay circuit to the mid-point of the clocking window which is the optimal clocking point for the particular clock input.

Abstract:
A marine operations structure for use in arctic seas having steel/concrete composite ice walls positioned to permit multi-year ice ridges to be broken up with lower vertical forces imposed on the structure than heretofore possible. The structure provides for simultaneous contacting and fracturing of both surface ice floe and multi-year ice ridges by proportioning of the ratio of the annular dimension of a first sloped surface to the radius of the structure within the range of about from 0. 15 to 0. 30. The structure is fabricated by modular construction techniques which lowers total construction costs. The structure is in the form of a sixteen-sided polygonal sloped walled marine structure with internal ballast tanks for providing gravity founding of the structure on the sea floor. Modular drilling equipment is provided for and supported by the structure for use through two rectangular shaped moon pools extending vertical throughout the central core of the structure. The process for simultaneously contacting and fracturing surface ice floes and ice pressure ridges is set forth along with the processes of installing and deballasting and relocating the structure.

Rotary Tin-Tie Cutting Mechanism For A Packaging Machine
In a packaging machine of the type in which a "tin-tie" strip is affixed to a bag to allow repeated reclosures of the bag, a machine for cutting a continuous strip of tin-tie material into predetermined lengths and feeding the cut lengths into a bonding station where they are adhesively bonded to the bag proximate its top opening. The machine comprises a frame supporting a pair of electromagnetic clutches, one for selectively coupling a continuously driven shaft to an output shaft to which a tin-tie strip feedwheel is attached and the other for selectively coupling a continuously driven shaft to an output shaft to which a rotary cutting head is secured. Passage of a bag past a sensor triggers the two clutches which function to withdraw a predetermined length of tin-tie material from a supply reel and to sever the strip while feeding the cut length to the bonding station at the same speed as the bag is moving.
